How to Apply for Scholarships

Applying for financial support at IHU is straightforward. Follow these steps to submit your scholarship application.

Submit Your Admission Application

Start by applying for admission to your chosen program at IHU. Scholarship consideration begins after your admission application is received. You can indicate your interest in financial aid during the admission process.

Complete the Scholarship Application Form

Once your admission application is submitted, access the dedicated Scholarship Application Form through your student portal. Select the scholarship(s) you wish to be considered for and provide all required information.

Upload Supporting Documents

Depending on the scholarship type, you may need to submit academic transcripts, financial documents, recommendation letters, personal essays, or proof of community involvement. Ensure all documents are clear and complete.

Review & Committee Evaluation

Our Scholarship Committee reviews all applications holistically, considering academic merit, financial need, leadership potential, and alignment with the scholarship's objectives. This process typically takes 2–4 weeks.

Receive Your Award Notification

Successful applicants receive an official scholarship award letter via email and through their student portal. The letter details the award amount, duration, renewal conditions, and any obligations. You will have 14 days to accept or decline the offer.

That's why IHU provides a range of installment plans that allow you to spread your tuition costs over the duration of your program. Our goal is to eliminate financial stress so you can focus entirely on your studies.

Early Payment Discount

Pay your full tuition before the semester begins and receive a 10% early payment discount on total tuition fees.

Yes. Students are encouraged to apply for every scholarship for which they meet the eligibility criteria. Our Scholarship Committee will evaluate each application independently, and multiple awards can be combined up to the total cost of tuition.

Most IHU scholarships are renewable on an annual basis, subject to the student maintaining satisfactory academic progress (typically a minimum GPA of 3.0 / 4.0) and remaining in good standing with the university. Specific renewal criteria are outlined in each scholarship's award letter.

You can submit your scholarship application simultaneously with your admission application. However, scholarship awards are contingent upon successful admission to a program. We recommend submitting both applications at the same time to ensure timely processing.
