Refund Policy

Tuition Refund Policy

IHU maintains a fair and transparent refund policy. The refund amount depends on when you withdraw relative to the semester start date.

Tuition & Payment FAQ

Common questions about tuition, payments, and financial aid at IHU.

Are there any hidden fees beyond what's listed?

No. IHU has a strict no-hidden-fees policy. The fee schedule on this page represents the complete cost. Textbooks and learning materials are included in tuition for all programs. The only additional costs are optional services like expedited transcript delivery or additional diploma copies.

Can I combine multiple scholarships?

Yes. Scholarships and discounts can be stacked up to a maximum total reduction of 60% of tuition. For example, a student could combine a 30% Merit Scholarship with a 25% Regional Diversity Scholarship for a total of 55% off. Ph.D. Research Assistantships are the exception and may cover up to 100%.

Is tuition the same for international and domestic students?

Yes. IHU does not differentiate between domestic and international students for tuition purposes. All students pay the same rates regardless of their country of residence. This is part of our commitment to global accessibility.

What happens if I miss a payment on an installment plan?

If you miss a monthly payment, you'll receive a reminder notification. A 7-day grace period is provided. After 7 days, a late fee of $25 is applied. If payment remains outstanding for 30 days, your account may be temporarily suspended until the balance is resolved. We encourage students to contact the finance office proactively if they anticipate difficulties.

Can my employer pay my tuition directly?

Absolutely. IHU has an employer sponsorship program. We can invoice your employer directly and work with their HR/training department to set up a payment arrangement. Group enrollment discounts (5+ employees) are also available. Contact admin@ih.university for details.

Will my tuition increase during my studies?

No. IHU offers a Rate Lock Guarantee. Once you enroll, your tuition rate is locked for the standard duration of your program (e.g., 4 years for a bachelor's, 2 years for a master's). Tuition adjustments only apply to new incoming students.
